The Lighthouse

"The Lighthouse" is what was formerly known as "Sunday School".
This is a time for boys and girls and young people to come together especially to learn more about God's Word, the Bible, in age appropriate ways.
We meet at 10:15am in the Minor Hall
The Rock
10.15am - 11.15am
(Sept - June)
Ages: 8 - 11
The Rock was formerly known as "Junior Bible Class" and is for anyone in Year 8 or 9.
The Rock exists to provide a place for us to learn more about God through the Bible and to find answers to the difficult questions that we are sometimes asked.
We meet at 10.15 am on Sundays in the Anderson Room, which is in the Anderson Room in the Guild Hall.
Senior Bible Class
10.15am - 11.15am

Ages: School Years 8+
Why bother with the Bible? Is it relevant today? Is it reliable? What does it tell us?
The Senior Bible Class is a weekly session for teenagers looking at these and other questions.
It meets at 10.15am on Sundays in the Session Room.
Morning Service
11.30am - 12.30pm

At the very heart of the church community, the Sunday services dominate everything we do.
Presenting an opportunity to unite in worship, a warm invitation is given to everyone to join us as we worship God.
Family Service
11.30am - 12.30pm
Tea & Coffee
12.30 - 13.30pm
Once a month, the normal Morning Service makes way for a Family Service.
A varied programme and relaxed atmosphere provide a welcoming environment for all ages.
Family Services are held on the final Sunday of every month and are followed by tea and coffee in the Minor Hall.
Creche
11.30am - 12.30pm
Ages: 0 - 4 Years
A crèche for young children is available during the Sunday morning service.
Drop your kids off in the Minor Hall at the start of the morning service, or discretely slip out at any point; it's entirely up to you.
Children's Church
12.00am - 12.30pm

Ages: Up to School Year 7
Children's Church meets every Sunday in the Anderson Room (Guild Hall) and is for all children up to primary 7.
Children are in Church for the first part of the service and then leave after the Children's address for their own time together. We have juice and biscuits, games, memory verses, Bible story and quizzes, among many other things each week.
It's a time when children learn more about God. We have recently been looking at mission work, and what it is like to live in another part of the world, and how we can help and pray for others.
If your child is aged up to primary 7, we'd be really keen to have them join us and have fun learning more about God.
